J'he workshop was arranged for 5 PM.
Present: Mayor Johnston, Councilmembers DeLapp, Johnson, Park and Smith
Also present: Susan Hoyt City Administrator, City Clerk Sharon Lumby, Finance Director Tom
Bouthilet
Members of the public were welcome to attend.
Mayor Johnston introduced the topic of "How We Do Our Public Business"
And asked city councilmembers what their expectations were for the workshop.
Facilitator Vivian Jenkins Nelsen lead the city council in the discussion of "How We Do Our Public
Business" by going through a set of draft ground rules and asking for input, comments, ideas and
what the city council felt was important.
Following the discussion of ground rules, the city council worked out an order, of business to
manage the process for agenda items.
The city council agreed to put this on the June 19, 2007 agenda for action.
