at 7:30 P.M.
MINUTES OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JANUARY 6, 1976.
Meeting called to order at 7:38 p.m. by Mayor Eder.
Present: Mayor Eder, Councilmen Abercrombie, Shervheim and Pott
and Councilwoman Lyons.
Also present: Bldg. Insp. Mueller, Counsel Raleigh and Engineer
Bonestroo.
1976 Wages: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott
to accept the recommendation of the salary committee
establishing 1976 wage scale as follows:
Elmer Richert from $6.08 to $6.53/hr.
Robert Wier F1 $5.58 to $6.03/hr.
Edna Beers $3.50 to $3.77/hr.
Marilyn Banister $2.90 to $3.12/hr.
Clerk -Treasurer $300.00 to $350.00/month.
Good Friday was added as a loth Holiday.
The authorization to increase accumulated sick
leave from 60 to 100 days.
Casual labor rate set at $2.30 and truck driver
rate at $3.80. Carried 5-0.
Minutes: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman
Lyon to approve minutes of December 16, 1975 meeting
as submitted. Carried 5-0.
Claims: Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman
Shervheim to approve payment of claims 76001 thru 76047.
Carried 5-0.
Appointments:Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Shervheim
to approve the following appointments for 1976:
Depository --State Bank of Lake Elmo
Official Publication --Stillwater Daily Gazette`
Vice Mayor--R. B. Abercrombie
Bonding Agent --Duran & Moody
Carried 5-0.
Green Acres: Lloyd Shervheim offered Resolution #R76-01 approving
installation of coin operated amusement devices at
Green Acres Recreation subject to certain conditions
and requested council confirmation. 2nd by Council-
woman Lyons. Carried 5-0.
Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott
to adjourn meeting at 8:02 p.m. to allow scheduled
hearing on Comprehensive Plan to convene. Carried 5-0.
