Minutes --Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, October 4, 1977. <br />Meeting called to order at 8:37 p.m. by Mayor Armstrong. <br />Present: Mayor Armstrong, Councilman Pott, Morgan and Shervheim and <br />Councilwoman Lyons. <br />Also present: Adm. Assistant Whittaker, Bldg. Insp. Mueller, Counsel <br />Raleigh and Engineer Noyes. <br />27th. St. Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Councilman Pott not to <br />extend 27th. St. beyond the East extremity of Tablyn Park <br />2nd. Addition. Carried 5-0. <br />Lake Jane Hills-3rd. Addition: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by <br />Councilman Pott to approve the final plat. Carried 5-0. <br />"Jesse's Hideaway" - Development agreement to exclude any reference to <br />50th. St. Agreement to be reworked and presented for <br />approval. <br />Linda Larson -Variance: No one present. Council tabled. Mr. Whittaker <br />will advise the requestor of the councils decision. <br />Louise Bahneman: 8410 Hudson Blvd., requested council permission to <br />increase the size of her advertising sign for her antique <br />shop. Her sign is currently approved on a SUP. Council <br />requested that Mrs. Bahnemann determine specifically what <br />she is requesting and then she should apply for amendment <br />to the SUP thru PZC. <br />42nd. St. -Lake Jane Trail Intersection: Engineer submitted the three <br />bids which he had received. <br />Pine Bend Paving Inc. --- $ 9246.70 <br />T. A. Schifsky & Sons,Inc.-- 13750.00 <br />Tower Asphalt, Inc. ------- 6891.00 <br />Low bidder could start work 10/11/77 but we will not <br />be able to arrange to get the power poles removed in time. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Morgan <br />to accept the low bid and proceed with project. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />During project,signs should be posted for local traffic <br />only. <br />1st.-Ideal-Immanual--Engineer reported he had met with residents and <br />explained alternatives but left the meeting with no final <br />policy. <br />Water surface plan: Engineer Noyes explained different plans they had <br />put together. <br />Maple Grove est. $40,000 <br />Woodbury 20 sections $20,000 <br />Northfield $16,000 <br />proposed-1000 acres of Lake Elmo $3,500. <br />
