MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL July 26, 1978 <br />Meeting called to order at 7:00 P. M. by Mayor Armstrong. <br />Present: Mayor Armstrong, Councilmen Pott Shervheim, and Morgans and Councilwoman <br />Lyons. <br />Also present: Counsel Raleigh and Engineer Noyes. <br />Easements: Word has been received, verbally, that Moris,Berschans and Richert <br />have all indicated they would not give an easement to pump water <br />over or on their property. <br />Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to <br />authorize engineer and counsel to attempt to get easement with <br />greatest haste necessary to pump water from Lake Jane via one <br />of the following routes 1. DNR property to city park, 2. down <br />Jamaca to park pond or 3. down Jamaca Court and then on to Eagle <br />Point. Carried 5-0. <br />Jamaca Culvert: Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Councilman Pott that en— <br />gineer get estimates to lower the present culvert from Beutel°s <br />pond to Eagle Point Fork to permit drainage. Carried 5-0. <br />Meeting: Motion by Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman Pott to start the August <br />4 1978 meeting at 6:30 P. M. Pather than 7:30 P. M. Carried 5-0. <br />Eagle Pointe Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan that we main— <br />tain the present dike at Eagle Point Lake. Carried 5-0. <br />Legion Pond: Attempt to obtain easements for pumping along Legion Avenue whibh <br />had been reported as not available. <br />Adjournments Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Morgan to adjourn <br />at 8:13 P. M. Carried 5-0. <br />
