LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />JUNE 10, 1986 <br />Acting -Mayor Christ called the special meeting to order at 4:30 in the <br />City Council Chambers. Present: Mazzara, Dunn, Armstrong, City <br />Administrator Overby and City Engineer Bohrer. Absent: Morgan <br />1. Review Bids for part B and Part C of the 201 Program <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported that on June 4, 1986 Widmer, Inc., of <br />St. Bonifacius, MN was the lowest responsive responsible bidder for <br />Part B in the amount of $316,363.90 and recommends a resolution <br />acknowledging receipt of such bid. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Armstrong - to adopt Resolution 86-38 acknowledging receipt <br />of bid for Part B of the 201 Program, and to award such bid in the <br />amount of $316,363.90 to Widmer, Inc., the lowest responsive <br />responsible bidder. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported that on June 4, 1986 Widmer, Inc., of <br />St. Bonifacius, MN was the lowest responsive responsible bidder for <br />Part C in the amount of $244,454.00. He recommended a resolution <br />acknowledging receipt of such bid. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Dunn - to adopt Resolution 86-39 acknowledging receipt <br />of bid in the amount of $244,454.00 for Part C of the 201 Program, and <br />to award such bid to Widmer, Inc., the lowest responsive responsible <br />bidder. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. Jon Tauer <br />City Administrator Overby and Maintenance Foreman Olinger recommended <br />rehiring Jon Tauer as a summer employee to help in the parks from June <br />11, 1986 to October 31, 1986 at a rate of $5.00 per hour. Jon had <br />worked for the City last summer and was a very good employee and can <br />work without supervision. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Mazzara - to rehire Jon Tauer to work in the maintenance <br />department at a rate of $5.00 per hour from June 11, 1986 to October <br />31, 1986. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Mazzara - to adjourn the special meeting at 4:50 p.m. <br />(Motion carried 4-0). <br />
