Mayor Arlyn Christ called the meeting to order at 4:33 p.m. in the
City Council chambers. Present: Christ, Graves, Moe, City
Engineer Bohrer and City Administrator Overby.
1. Agenda
M/S/P Moe/Graves - to accept the agenda as presented. (Motion
carried 3-0).
City Engineer Bohrer presented the results of the Part D bid
review. Four bids were received with the low bid being submitted
by Lake Area Utility Contracting, Inc., of Hugo, Minnesota in the
amount of $579,027.00. Bohrer recommended that the Council
indicate by resolution its desire to award the contract for Part D
to Lake Area Utility Contracting, Inc. subject to concurrence by
the MPCA.
M/S/P Moe/Graves - to adopt Resolution 87-30acknowledging receipt
of bid for Part D of the 201 Program and to award such bid to Lake
Area Utility Contracting, Inc. the lowest responsive responsible
bidder in the amount of $579,027.00; subject to concurrence by the
MPCA. (Motion carried 3-0).
M/S/P Graves/Moe to adjourn the special City Council meeting at
4:38 p.m. (Motion carried 3-0).
