Public Inquiries
Todd Williams, 3025 Lake Elmo Avenue N., commented on the clean up plan with a
deadline of January 1, 1993 for Hammes' property. At the September 16, 1992
cleanup update, Mr. McNamara reported he had told the Hammes family to apply for a
burning permit for the large pile of trash, but they claimed they were going to wait until
the end of the year. Williams is concerned about their unwillingness to clean up their
property without being strongly encouraged by the Council or Health Dept. The existing
trash pile is both a visible nuisance and.a fire hazard.
