MINUTES OF THE JOINT MEETING OF THE
LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL AND
WATER SURFACE USE COMMITTEE
JUNE 1, 1994
Vice Mayor Johnston called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. PRESENT:
Johnston, Conlin, Johnson. ABSENT: John, Mottaz.
Water Surface Use Committee members present were: Tom Sweno, Paul
Novak, Jim Dillon, Mike Moen, Paul Huot, Joe Kiesling, Ann Scovill and Robert
Horning. Also present: Administrator Kueffner.
1. AGENDA
M/S/C Johnson/Johnston - to approve the June 1, 1994 agenda as amended:
Add 2. June 7, 1994 City Council Meeting and renumber #2 Review Surface
Water Ordinance to #3. (Motion carried 3-0).
2. June 7th City Council Meeting
M/S/C - Johnson/Conlin - to cancel the June 7, 1994 regular City Council
meeting because three council members (John, Conlin and Johnson) will be out-
of-town. (Motion carried 3-0).
3. Review Surface Water Ordinance
The City Council and Water Surface Use Committee reviewed the proposed
ordinance, and those changes are reflected in the draft Surface Water Use
Ordinance dated June 1, 1994.
M/S/C Conlin/Johnson - to extend the meeting until 8:45 p.m. (Motion carried 3-
0).
M/S/C Johnson/Conlin - to take the June 1, 1994 Surface Water Use Ordinance
to public hearing on July 19, 1994. (Motion carried 3-0).
4. The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
