The minutes of the August meeting were approved as written.
There was a discussion of the trailer court. It was agreed that
Ken 9. would write a letter to the State and ask the following type
questions:
is there a properly designed sewage system
has the State inspected it and certified it to be adequate
how many trailers will it accomodate
was there trouble with it last winter and was the condition
of last winter corrected
There was a discussion of the Davis trailer. The addition to this
trailer is considered to violate certain ordinances. It watt moved by
Martin E. that we enforce the ordinances against Davis; seconded by
?'aynard E. ; carried.
There was a discussion of other trailer problems. Apparently
there is a 9tete law which says that trailers have to he in a trailer
court if one is available. There 'ray be hardship case exceptions and
the situation may Also depend on the date the trailer moved to its
present location, that le, whether the date is earlier or later than
the date of the East Oadale trailer regulation (June ?5, 1959). An
attempt will be made to make a list of all the trailers in East
Oakdale township at the next â–ºMeeting.
There was a discussion of a proposed ordinance requiring an
80' minimum setback for houses from the center of the road on all
township thorofares. For the nurrose of this ordinance thorofares
include all county and state roads .end the following township roads:
Lake Jane Road Harvester road
County Road B Eagle Point Road
Kurt Drive Oe' ale Drive
Lake Jane Drive McNeely Road (Lake Elmo Drive)
Bergman Road llth Street (Herzfeld Road)
Highland Road
and any other roads that the town board may from time to time designate.
It was moved by Kleia, seconded by Eberhard that we have such an
ordinance. Carried.
It was decided to have an ordinance to amend Section 52 of
Ordinance #1 requiring a 66 foot easement for private drives.
In regard to storage buildings in the trailer court, it wes
decided that there should be a maximum of an 9' X 12' storage house
per trailer, built on a concrete slab, Fireproof, and not used for
animals or for human habitation. There must he no lean-to's against
the trailer. The Town Poerd will write e letter to Schumann on this.
