East Oakdale Planning Commission Meeting

The minutes of the March meeting were approved as written.
Wrn Basler (2669 East 7th Street, St, Paul 6, Sp 9-0435) requested
permission to build a wood working shop on the Ed Roettger property.
This was discouraged with the idea that the property next to Highway 36
would be better for residential use and that the area in total was too
small for an industrial area. It was generally felt that some effort
should be made to try to accommodate small industrial units such as
Basle r`sa
Mr, Davis submitted a request to build a garage next to his trailer.
The Planning Commission took the position that this could not be
granted until Davis complies with all the ordinances. It was further
recommended that the Town Board take action on the present violation.
There was a request to permit the Kings Horses to operate as a restaurant
and/or drive in with no liquor. The Town Board should have a hearing on
this.
There was some discussion of the possibility of black topping the Hidden
Bay road.
