SUBJECT: Request for Building Permit to Move Garage
Gentlemen:
The following reasons are listed to get your approval to obtain a
moving permit from Martin Eberhart, Building Inspector of East Oakdale
Township area, to move a one and one—half (1-1/2) oar garage approximately
one—half (1/2) mile onto agricultural land (pasture) in front of my home
to house two (2) horses:
1. Garage has been purchased by undersigned, along with
concrete blocks for foundation.
2. Garage is in sound shape and will be painted after moved
to new location requested.
3. Mover has been oontaoted, looked at garage, and is willing
to move garage for me upon request.
4. Garage would have been moved two (2) months ago without
any questions asked, however, it was casually mentioned
to me that a building permit might be required to move
the garage.
No building presently exists in pasture and shelter is definitely
necessary during winter months.
6. A. (Bob) Sohiltgen, owner.of pasture, has given hia approval
to members of East Oakdale Town Board and myself, to move
garage in pasture.
7. Neighbors have consented to moving garage in pasture.
8. My wife and four (4) year old son will be able to Dare for
the horses since the house will be approximately 40-50 yards
from the converted garage.

9. Without shelter in pasture, horses would most likely
have to be sold. Before selling horses, we will most
likely have to move out of the area.
T have consulted the East Oakdale Town Board with the result that
the Planning Commission must make the final decision.
Please allow me to show you the garage, location in pasture, acces-
sibility and ideal set-up for my family and for the horses.
My wife, myself and my son most sincerely request and urge your
approval of a building permit for a simple one (1) hour garage moving
effort which will resolve all problems and actually improve the looks
of the pasture by having a newly painted, well -constructed garage/horse
barn to view.
Please advise.
