MINUTES OF THE PLANNTNG AND ZQNINO COMHISSTQN -- October 2.C, 1971.
The meeting was called to order at 7:115 PM., by Chairman Lundquist.

Mr. W. f . Rambo anneared regarding moving a mobile home onto his nronerty on Sri rhwav
in Section 3. This mobile home is about 'rx32' and has heavy smr,ke damage on the
interior. All of the internal furnishings would he removed and shelving installed
along both side walls for storing ceramic molds and ennelies. The trailer will be
located behind the nresent "ceramic Studio" and decorative fences would be installed
cn both ends. It would not be visible from ar?iacent roads or ad.iacent property.
Y. Eder arrived at 8:10 PM.
A motion was made and seconded that the Planning -Zoning r':oer"iss' on recommends that
this use be permitted via a Special Use Permit if the public hearing is favorable.
The motion was carried unanimously. Mr. Rambo was advised to annly for a Special
1 se Permit and request a hearing at 8 : 00 PM on November 9th., also he should request
to be placed on the Council agenda of November 16.

Mr. Zwar, Mrs. E. Sanft, and Mr. & Mrs. ''ubert Rhode Jr., anr,eared regarding the
Sanft property on Meadowlark Lane in N.W. of the SW of Sect on l .
(Mr. Zwar had been requested (at the September 27th meeting) to.i'ave both the buyers
and the seller appear before the Planning -Zoning Commission, so that the problems
of the proposed subdivision could be explained to them). Mr. Zwar advised the
Planning- Zoning Commission that there was also a thirty-three foot strip of land
owned by Mrs. Sanft lying along the section line between the Wright property and
said West section line. After discussing the problems of the sub -standard frontage
of this y acre tract, the following motion was made:
The Planning - Zoning Commission recommends that the Village Council grant a variance
!:'or sub --standard frontage provided that the 33 foot strip between the Wright property
and the West line o f' Section 114 be included Z n i ne aorroxima tely five acre tract
being purchased by Mr. Rode. This strip of land will rrovide a possible future
roadway that could be developed with the cooperation of the owner of the abutting land
in Section 15, and provide additional access to the proposed subdivision. The motion
was seconded and carried by a h to 1 vote. M. Eder cast the dissenting vote.
A motion was made and seconded to annrove the minutes of the October 12th., meeting
as published. Seconded and carried unanimously.
