LAKE ELMO PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTE
JULY 25, 1988 -- 7:30 p.m.
WORK SESSION
Present: DeLapp, Hunt, Enes, Johnston, Kunde. Absent: Bucheck,
Williams, Johnson, Stevens, Haacke, Simpson.
Comprehensive Plan : The workshop was scheduled to review the Comp
Plan; however, as M. Williams was not present, other matters were
discussed. It was determined and reaffirmed by Lee Hunt that he would
pursue the capability of creating a disc containing the draft Comp.
Plan for use on the City's Apple computer.
Proposed RE Ordinance : Lee Hunt reviewed the progress of the
proposed RE Ordinance as being discussed by the Council/Planning
Commission subcommittee. He advised the next committee meeting would
be held on August 4th at 11:30 a.m.
He advised roadway and landscaping provisions had been discussed and
that it appeared that private roadways were being discouraged. He
also expressed concern that the proposed ordinance may be losing some
of its original intent, and that it maybe becoming an expanded R.-1
zoning district.
Morton/Engstrom Development : Planning Commission members discussed
the forthcoming proposal from Morton/Engstrom for development of a 50
acre parcel, into 18 lots, off County Rd. 17. The consensus:
