The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby amends Title XV: Land <br />Usage; Chapter 154: Zoning Code; Article XIV: Commercial Districts; Section 154.554 by <br />adding the following: <br />0. Local Transit. BP District, School bus terminals shall be allowed as a conditional _princ pal <br />use within the Business Parr: zoning district, provided than <br />1. The us shall be limited to a school district transportation center, owned by a public shoot district <br />serving as a bus terminal for buses which transport ap ssengers to and from schools or between <br />school progran3s and community residences, <br />2. The nro-Dettv on which the use is located must be .Located within one half mile of ro-oertymmowned <br />by a public school district for an active school or school administration building. <br />3. Must be on Drol)gMcv at least 10 acres in size or more. <br />4, Must be sufficiently screened, as determined by the City, from ad'acent residential prorterties <br />through techniques such as bermigg and landseVIA9. <br />5.
