LAUDERDALE CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Lauderdale City Hall <br />1891 Walnut Street <br />Lauderdale, MN 55113 <br />Page 4 of 4 September 9, 2014 <br />License agreement with the owners of 1773 Fulham for a retaining wall and fence <br />Butkowski introduced a draft license agreement for a replacement retaining wall and fence at <br />1773 Fulham Street. <br />Councilor Hawkinson moved to adopt the License Agreement for Retaining Wall and I <br />Uence as presented. Councilor Gaasch seconded the motion and it passed unanimously, <br />Stray Cats <br />Councilor Mac Lean added this item to the agenda. Mac Lean stated she has seen a number of <br />cats in the Eustis and Spring Street area. Other Councilors stated they are getting complaints <br />about feral cats as well. Police Chief John Ohl was in attendance and stated the SAP D was <br />happy to work with the City on this issue but there aren't the resources within the Police <br />Department to handle strays as it costs $500.00 per cat to process them. <br />Agenda items for the September 23 Council Meeting may include the 2015 budget and <br />preliminary levy, Luther Seminary final plat and the July Finances and Quarterly Investment <br />Report. <br />Work Session: <br />Mayor Dains explained that the Council was moving into the Work Session. Work Sessions are <br />a continuation of the meeting but not aired on community television. <br />Mayor Dains asked if anyone wished to address the Council. Ruth Knutson of Pleasant Street <br />came forward to address the Council. Knutson stated she was having trouble with her neighbor's <br />dogs barking in the middle of the night along with other concerns which include a garbage bin <br />which is overfilled and attracting animals. Knutson said she has spoken to City Hall and the <br />Police Department about her concerns. <br />I <br />There being no further business on the council agenda, Councilor Mac Lean moved to <br />adjourn the meeting.
