Call to Order
Mayor Pro Tem Sayre called the Regular City Council meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.
Roll Call
Councilors present: Sharon Kelly, Duane Pulford, Jeff Dains, and Mayor Pro Tem Sayre.
Councilors absent: Mary Gaasch.
Staff present: Jim Bownik, Assistant to the City Administrator; and Miles Cline, Deputy City
Clerk.
Approvals
Mayor Pro Tem Sayre asked if there were any additions to the meeting agenda. There being
none, Councilor Kelly moved and seconded by Councilor Pulford to approve the agenda. Motion
carried unanimously.
Mayor Pro Tem Sayre asked if there were corrections to the minutes of the February 25, 2025,
City Council meeting. There being none, Councilor Pulford moved and seconded by Councilor
Dains to approve the February 25, 2025, City Council meeting minutes. Motion carried
unanimously.
Mayor Pro Tem Sayre asked if there were any questions on the claims. There being none,
Councilor Dains moved and seconded by Councilor Pulford to approve the claims totaling
$137,638.39. Motion carried unanimously.
Consent
Councilor Kelly moved and seconded by Councilor Dains to approve the Consent Agenda
thereby approving the street sweeping agreement with Mike McPhillips, Inc., the tree trimming
and removal services agreement with Blue Chip Tree Company, and the refuse hauler licenses.
Set Agenda for Next Meeting
Bownik stated that the March 25 Council meeting might include the February financial report,
and a NineNorth and cable commission update from Jeff Ongstad.
Work Session
A. Community Development Update
Councilor Pulford stated that he and Administrator Butkowksi attended the Lucky Leaf
Exposition at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Councilor Kelly shared that she, Councilor
Pulford, and Administrator Butkowski attended the Day on the Hill event at the Minnesota State
Capitol.

B. Opportunity for the Public to Address the City Council
Mayor Pro Tem Sayre opened the floor to those interested in addressing the Council.
There being nobody interested in speaking, Mayor Pro Tem Sayre closed the floor.
Adjournment
Councilor Dains moved and seconded by Councilor Pulford to adjourn the meeting at 7:09 p.m.
Motion carried unanimously.
