1. Meeting called to order at 7:05 P.M.
2. ROLL
Council present: Giannetti, Christensen, McCloskey, Gill -Gerbig and
Mayor Dains
Staff present: Acting Administrator Bownik, Deputy Clerk Walsh
3. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
A. Approval of Agenda. Motion by Giannetti, second by McCloskey to
approve the agenda. Roll: Yes: all. Motion carried.
4. APPROVAL
A. Approval of Minutes. Motion by Gill -Gerbig, second by Christensen to
approve the minutes of the February 22, 2005 City Council meeting. Motion
carried unanimously.
B. Approval of Claims totaling $20,051.46. Motion by Christensen, second
by McCloskey to approve the claims totaling $20,051.46. Motion carried
unanimously.

8. INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATIONS

A. State Senator John Marty and State Representative Mindy Greiling.
Senator Marty and Representative Greiling discussed legislative issues that are of
concern to the City with the City Council. They also answered general questions
from the audience in attendance.

11. ACTION
A. Resolution 030805A: A Resolution Proclaiming March 13, 2005 Mark
Koranda Day in the City of Lauderdale. Warren Plaisance, Scoutmaster of Boy
Scout Troop 254, has requested that the City recognize Mark Koranda for his
accomplishments in attaining the Eagle rank. Mr. Plaisance presented the City
Council with some general information about Mr. Koranda and his worthiness for
this recognition.
Mr. Koranda, 1752 Carl Street, is a lifetime resident of Lauderdale. Only 1 out of
100 scouts attain the goal of the Eagle rank. Mr. Plaisance plans to present the
City's recognition of Mr. Koranda to him at a ceremony planned for March 13.
Motion by Christensen, second by McCloskey to approve Resolution 030805A: A
Resolution Proclaiming March 13, 2005 Mark Koranda Day in the City of
Lauderdale. Roll: Yes: all. Motion carried.

A break was taken at 7:56 p.m. to transition into a work session discussion.
16. WORK SESSION DISCUSSION
The meeting resumed at 8:02 p.m.
A. Replacement of the City Administrator. Search Consultant Wally Wysopal
presented information about the applicants to the City Council. The City Council
discussed the applicants and chose six candidates to interview for the position.
17. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Gill -Gerbig, second by Christensen, to adjourn at 9:45 P.M. Ayes: All.
