<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-EDA-53 <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST ATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority, Mounds View, <br />Minnesota ("Authority") is a public body corporate and politic organized and operating under <br />Minnesota law, as amended, and is authorized to sell real estate in the mmmer provided by law; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Authority finds it desirable to sell the real estate described in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto known as the Bel-Rae Ballroom site ('"Subject Property") for the purpose of <br />promoting the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Mounds View, Minnesota <br />("City"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has offered to purchase the Subject Property from the Authority for <br />the sum of $1.00 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.64. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Mounds View <br />Economic Development Authority, as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />') <br />.... <br /> <br />The Commissioners hereby find that the sale of the Subject Property to be <br />suitable, necessary and reasonable and for a public purpose to serve the needs of <br />the citizens and property owners ofthe City. <br /> <br />Authority staff are hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary steps to <br />convey the Subject Property to the City for $1.00 by quitclaim deed, including. <br />without limitation, the preparation and execution of all appropriate documents. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Mounds View Economic Development Authority, Mounds View, <br />Minnesota this 23rd day of September, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />C herine Bennett, E ecutive Director <br />
