<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 97-EDA-71 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO NSP FOR UTILITY AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION <br />EASEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has completed improvements to the Ardan Park <br />Compost Site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, lights were installed as part of the improvements to the Ardan Park <br />Compost Site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) is the owner of the <br />property located at 8283 Long Lake Road and legally described at Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT <br />MEADOWS; and <br /> <br />. WHEREAS, Ramsey County is requesting that the EDA grant a 10 foot wide <br />electrical utility easement across Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT MEADOWS to implement lighting at <br />the Ardan Park Compost Site described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT MEADOWS; thence <br />northwesterly to a point on the north line of said Lot 3 and 22.77 feet West of the <br />northeast corner of said lot 3 and there terminating. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the agreement will include a clause that requires NSP to move said <br />easement upon the subdivision of Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT MEADOWS at no expense to the City <br />or EDA. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Authority <br />of the City of Mounds View hereby approves the granting of an electrical utility easement to NSP <br />and authorizes the President and Executive Director to execute the agreement. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />~--- <br /> <br />.
