<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-EDA-lOO <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BElWEEN THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE FRIDLEY HOUSING AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (BRA) FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING <br />THE FRIDLEY HRA AS THE FISCAL AGENT FOR THE NORTH METO HOME AND <br />GARDEN FAIR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The EDA approved expenditure of $2,500 of Tax Increment Funds (TIF) on <br />April 23, 1998 for the purposes of implementing a Home and Garden Fair to encourage the <br />improvement and redevelopment of housing within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staffhas been working with the cities of Blaine, Fridley and New Brighton to <br />develop the North Metro Home and Garden Fair for the spring of 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Fridley lIRA has volunteered to act as the Fiscal Agent for the Fair; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View EDA should enter into an agreement with the Fridley lIRA <br />for the purposes of securing fiscal responsibilities of City funds for the intended purpose of <br />promoting the North Metro Home and Garden Fair with the cities of Blaine, Fridley and New <br />Brighton. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />an Agreement between the Mounds View EDA and the Fridley lIRA for the purposes of promoting <br />the North Metro Home and Garden Fair with the cities of Blaine, Fridley and New Brighton with <br />the Fridley lIRA acting as the fiscal agent. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of November, 199 . <br /> <br /> <br />/- --. --..--.-- __n___._.___, <br />_......_. _.'. ~'__n_. <br />I; ~.-.- .--h-.--~~!.--l <br />, II i <br />1 ;!
