<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-EDA-142 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MANUFACTURED HOME PARK REVITALIZATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA) has recognized a <br />need to establish a Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program to reduce the social costs of <br />blight, improve the quality of life in Mounds View manufactured home parks, and enhance housing <br />opportunities available within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a need in the City of Mounds View to provide a program in which <br />deteriorating manufactured homes that have a blighting influence on the neighborhood and <br />community may be acquired for demolition or rehabilitated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the program would be primarily funded through Community Development Block <br />Grant funds distributed by Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects in which CDBG funds are used are to provide safe and quality housing <br />for low and moderate income families; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the program descriptions attached as Exhibit A provide an overview of the <br />acquisition and rehabilitation components of the program. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Economic Development <br />Authority hereby approves the Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program contingent upon <br />obtaining Community Development Block Grant Funding. <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of February, 2001. <br /> <br />---y ~ <br /> <br />Rich Sonterre, President <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />^~~~~f1~v&-~ <br /> <br />Kathleeh Miller, Executive Director <br />
