<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-EDA-174 <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT AWARD FOR UNDERTAKING <br />GEOTECHNICAL EXPLORATION FOR PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br />ON LOTS 34 THROUGH 40 ON COUNTY ROAD H2 IN MOUNDS VIEW. <br /> <br />It is hereby resolved by the Board of Commissioners (the "Board") of the Mounds <br />View Economic Development Authority (the "Authority") as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City currently owns or controls five lots covering approximately <br />6.5 acres in the block bounded by County Road H2, Knollwood Drive, Woodale Dr., and <br />Pleasant View Drive; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Fyksen, an adjacent landowner, with approximately 4.1 acres <br />in the same block, has expressed a willingness to coordinate development with the City <br />with the intent to sell his property for residential development; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Department sought proposals from <br />three soil testing companies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by May 28, 2003 a total of three (3) proposals for geotechnical <br />exploration, including mobilization, tree clearing, drilling, laboratory testing, engineering <br />report presentation, have been received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low bidder was Stork Twin City Testing Corporation in the <br />estimated amount of $2,995.00; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Authority does hereby approve a contract award with Stork Twin City <br />Testing Corporation in the estimated amount of $2,995.00 for the for the geotechnical <br />exploration for the proposed residential development on lots 34 through 40 on County <br />Road H2 in Mounds View. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Authority this 9th day of June 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />, (. <br />(_ )C.\'-o'\n/(/) [/ f~-z...<....,'\---Gy'--/ <br />James Ericson, Interim Executive <br />Director <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
