<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EDA RESOLUTION NO. 04-EDA-196 <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF A LAND SURVEYOR TO CONDUCT <br />A BOUNDARY SURVEY AND A TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY FOR THE BRIDGES GOLF <br />COURSE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (the "Authority") and the <br />City Council have directed staff to explore all potential options relating to the Bridges of Mounds <br />View Golf Course (the "Bridges"), including the redevelopment of the course; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Authority has become aware through CRESA Partners of Minneapolis of <br />significant interest in The Bridges for a potential corporate office campus redevelopment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to effectively locate parcel boundaries and topography is necessary to assure <br />CRESA Partners and the End User that there are no gaps in ownership or any encroachments <br />that would hinder redevelopment of the site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's Attorney in a legal opinion has strongly recommended that the City <br />undertake such a survey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. staff has received five proposals from qualified land surveyors to conduct a <br />topographic boundary survey of the Bridges site in accordance with all regulatory guidelines and <br />standards; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the land surveying firm E. G. Rud & Sons, Inc. submitted the lowest cost <br />proposal to conduct a boundary survey and topographic survey of the Bridges Golf Course site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mounds View Economic Development <br />Authority hereby authorizes the land surveying firm of E. G. Rud & Sons, Inc. to conduct a <br />boundary survey and elevations for the Bridges Golf Course Redevelopment Project in <br />accordance with their proposal dated September 15. 2004, at a cost not to exceed $8,300. <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day of September, 2004 by the <br />- Mounds View Economic Development Authority <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ <br />K/IL-b- ~ <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich, Executive Director <br />
