<br />ORDINANCE NO. 522 <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 80 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />REGARDING USE OF HIGHWAYS ( STREETS AND ROADS <br /> <br />The Council of the city of Mounds View does hereby ordain that <br />Chapter 80 of the Municipal Code of Mounds View shall be amended <br />by renumbering section 80.04 to section 80.05 and adding the <br />following section 80.04: <br /> <br />80.04. <br /> <br />Depositing Snow or Debris in Street Right of Way. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />All snow accumulated from clearing or plowing operations on <br />private property shall be stockpiled on the property from which <br />the snow is cleared or upon other private property for which the <br />property owner has written permission. In clearing snow and/or <br />moving snow, it shall be unlawful to operate in such a manner as <br />to cause any snow to be deposited in the street, on sidewalks, in <br />the boulevard of any street, or on private property for which <br />the property owner does not have written permission for storage <br />of snow. Snow cleared from the portion of a driveway or sidewalk <br />in the boulevard of a street may be placed on the boulevard <br />adjacent to the driveway or sidewalk, but may not be moved across <br />the street t,o other areas without express permission of the <br />property owner receiving the snow. <br /> <br />Debris f including, but not limited to tree branches, leaves, <br />dirt, and other materials shall be properly disposed for the type <br />of material. It shall be unlawful to place any type of debris <br />into the street right-of-way or on private property for which the <br />property owner does not have written permission. <br /> <br />Nothing in this ordinance shall be deemed to apply to governmen- <br />tal agencies involved in the maintenance of streets and sidewalks <br />or involved in snow and ice control operations. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date of <br />its publication. <br /> <br />Read by the city Council of the City of Mounds View this <br />14 day of Dec. , 1992. <br /> <br />Read and passed by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View this ~ day of Februrry , 199~. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />
