<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 548 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE, <br />REQUIRING ALL CONTIGUOUSLY OWNED UNPLATTED PROPERTY TO BE <br />INCLUDED IN ALL SUBDIVISIONS, ADDING A DEFINITION OF OUTLOT AND <br />AMENDING TITLE 1100, CHAPTER 1102, SECTION 1102.02 AND TITLE 1200, <br />CHAPTER 1202, SECTION 1202.02, SUBDIVISION 2 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY <br />CODE <br /> <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION I. Findings. The City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the <br />public to require subdividers and owners of property to include all contiguously <br />owned property when submitting a plat application for property that is previously <br />unplatted. This requirement is necessary in order for the City to properly plan for the <br />orderly development of property within its boundaries and to ensure that subdividers <br />consider the effect that present development has on potential future development of <br />adjoining properties. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Section 1202.02, Subdivision 2 of the Mounds View City Code is <br />amended by adding the following paragraph: <br /> <br />c. The application must include all contiguous land <br />owned by the subdivider or owner, unless the <br />application is a replat of property that has been <br />previously platted. If only a portion of the <br />property to be subdivided is planned to be <br />presently developed, the remainder of the land may <br />be platted as an outlot. The subdivider or owner <br />must submit a schematic demonstrating how the <br />property that is not currently planned for <br />development could be developed consistent with the <br />City's regulations. <br /> <br />SECTION III. The introductory clause to Section 1102.02 of the Mounds View <br />City Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS: The following words and terms, <br />wherever they occur in this +itle Code, shall be <br />defined as follows: <br /> <br />.
