OF THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED "V ACA TIONS AND HOLIDAYS" <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: <br /> <br />SECTION I. Chapter 306.05, "Legal Holidays" is hereby amended by adding the following: <br /> <br />306.05: <br /> <br />LEGAL HOLIDAYS: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. <br /> <br />Legal Holidays Designated: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />The following shall be legal holidays for all regular full-time employees and regular part- <br />time employees on a pro rata basis subject to this Title: New Year's Day, Martin Luther <br />King's Birthday (third Monday in January), President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, <br />Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after <br />Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and four (4) hours Christmas Eve Day, and four (4) hours <br />New Year's Eve Day in years where either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve falls on a <br />Monday. Tuesday. Wednesday. or Thursday. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />If Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Independence Day or Veteran's Day falls on a <br />Saturday, the preceding Friday will be considered a holiday. If Christmas Day, New <br />Year's Day, Independence Day or Veteran's Day falls on a Sunday, the following Monday <br />will be considered a Holiday. <br /> <br />c. Employees shall observe the days herein as designated as legal holidays and receive <br />compensation as though worked, but essential operations shall be maintained by such <br />skeleton crews as the department head deems necessary. <br /> <br />SECTION II.
