<br />ORDINANCE NO. 623 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />An Ordinance euthorlzlng the City Council <br />of the City of Mound$ View to set water <br />end _ste weter retes end surcharges <br />effective with the Januery 1999 billings <br />The City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION I. . <br />The Mounds View City Council has deter- <br />mined that it Is in the best Interest of the City <br />to Insure sufficient funding to cover operations <br />and debt service In the Water and Waste <br />Water Funds. <br />SECTION II. <br />The Finance Director shall quarterly prepare <br />a bill based on the rates established for each <br />property class by Council and in accordance <br />with existing Mounds View policy. <br />Weter rates shall be set at $1.45/1000 <br />gallons.' water sold. A quarterly meter <br />surcharge rate shall be set based on meter <br />size as follows: <br />Residential Meters <br />518" to 1", $3.00 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <~' <br /> <br />Commercial Meters <br />1 inch $3.60 <br />1 1/2 inch $6.00 <br />2 inch $7.40 <br />3 inch $19.00 <br />4 inch $31.50 : <br />Non-compliance to perticipate, including~ <br />menuel billing $25.oo/quarter.~ <br />Customer's option for redlo read and} <br />onetime capital outley charge. . ; <br />$151quarter plus " <br />$27.00 one timet <br />. . capital charge. : <br />Was~ Water retesshall be set at'47.00. <br />per REC (Residential Equivalent Connllction)~ <br />per quarter. .
