Definitions: For purposes of this Section the following vl'Ords shall have the meanings specified below: (1) ABANDONED VEHICLE: A mot-or vehicle that has remained for a period of more than forty eight (i1 8) hours on public property illegally or lacking vital component parts, or that has remained for a period of more than forty eight (i1 8) hours on private property ',vith or '.vithout consent of the person in control of such property, unless it is kept in an enclosed garage or storage building.
