CITY OF HOUNDS VIEH <br />COUNTY OF RMISEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW BY AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 40 ENTITLED, "ZONING" <br /> <br /> <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby <br />ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION I. 40.02, Subdivision B, shall be amended by <br />adding the following: <br /> <br />110.0, Veterinary or Animal Clinic. A structure <br />intended for providing medical examinations and treatment to <br />animals. Services would be limited to small animals and <br />would not include boarding of animals. <br /> <br />SECTION II. 40.17, Subdivision D, shall be amended by <br />adding the following: <br /> <br />(4) Veterinary and Animal Clinics provided that: <br /> <br />. a. Noise and odor are effectively confined to <br />the premises in accordance with Ordinance No. <br />90, Public Nuisance. <br /> <br />b. The boarding of animals is not provided for <br />beyond hospitalization for surgery, illness, <br />or injury. <br /> <br />c. A mechanical ventilation or exhaust system <br />shall be installed to control, capture and <br />remove emissions or odors generated by such <br />use. Such systems shall be separate from the <br />other ventilation systems in the building. <br />Such system shall be designed to prevent the <br />migration of emissions or odors to other parts <br />of the building. Installation must comply <br />with the Minnesota State Building Code <br />Mechanical Systems, Chapter 1345. <br /> <br />SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />(30) days after the date of its publication. <br /> <br />Read by the Council of the City of Mounds View on this <br />9 day of May , 1988. <br /> <br />. <br />
