<br /> ,. <br /> " ,j <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 475 <br /> - CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> BY AMENDING CHAPTER 100, ENTITLED, "INTOXICATING <br /> LIQUOR" <br /> The City Council of the City of Mounds View does <br /> hereby ordain: <br /> SECTION I. Chapter 100.09, Subdivision 1 is amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> Subdivision 1. Hours and Days of Sale. No <br /> "on-sale" shall be made between the hours of 1 o'clock a.m. <br /> and 8 o'clock a.m. on any weekday. No "off-sale" shall be <br /> made before 8 o'clock a.m. or after 8 o'clock p.m. on any <br /> day except Friday and Saturday, on which days "off-sale" may <br /> be made until 10 o'clock p.m. No "off-sale" shall be made <br /> on ~~W/1~~1!~/W~tl/I~~~~1t/tl/t~~~p~~~~~t~/W~t'/I~tt/~ <br /> Thanksgiving Day; or Christmas Day, December 25; but on the <br /> evenings preceeding such days, if the sale of liquor is not <br /> otherwise prohibited on such evenings, "off-sale" may be <br /> . made until 10 o'clock p.m.., except that no "off-sale" shall <br /> be made on December 24 after 8 o'clock p.m. <br /> SECTION II. Chapter 100.09, Subdivision 3 is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> Subdivision 3. Sunday Sales. Notwithstanding the <br /> provisions of Subdivision 1, "on-sale" establishments <br /> licensed to sell intoxicating liquor on Sunday may serve <br /> same between the hours of 12 o'clock noon and t~/~!tt~t~//// <br /> ~t~~t9}\': 1 o'clock a.m. on Sundays in conjunction with <br /> serving of food. In addition, the City Council may <br /> authorize, by license, a licensee to serve intoxicating <br /> liquors between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on <br /> Sunday in conjunction with the serving of food only to <br /> persons seated at tables ordinarily used for dining. <br /> Provided, however, that the licensed establishment lS in <br /> conformance with the Minnesota Clean Air Act. < <br /> SECTION III. Chapter 100.04, Subdivision 3, Fees is <br /> amended by adding the following: - <br /> ( 3 ) No intoxicating liquor license fees shall be <br /> increased except after notice and public hearing by the <br /> . Council on the proposed increase. Notice of the proposed <br /> increase must be published in the official newspaper and <br /> mailed to all affected licensees at least 30 days in advance <br /> of the hearing. <br />
