ORDINANCE NO. 706 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 400, CHAPTER 401 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 401.02, SUBD. 1 AS TO <br />MEMBERSHIP OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 401.02, Subd. 1 of the Mounds View Municipal Code relating to <br />membership of the Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby amended by the addition <br />of the bold and double underlined language and the deletion of the <br />language as o ows: <br />401.02: MEMBERSHIP; TERMS; OATH; COMPENSATION: <br />Subd. 1. Membership; Terms: <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission shall consist of ~e-{S;seven <br />~7 members from the resident population of Mounds View, other than <br />persons elected to a public body, to be appointed by the Mayor with <br />approval of the City Council, from applications submitted. The <br />appointees shall have three (3) year staggered terms; at least two (2) <br />of these terms, but not more than three (3) terms, shall expire each <br />year on December 31. Based upon the recommendation of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission, the Mayor, with approval of the <br />City Council, shall appoint a chairperson. <br />SECTION 2.
