ORDINANCE NO. 732 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW TO THE MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Appendix D of the Mounds View Municipal Code entitled "Special Ordinances" is <br />hereby amended to include reference to the following Ordinance 732. <br />Subdivision 1. The City of Mounds View owns three parcels of land on County Road H2 <br />in Ramsey County, Minnesota, the legal descriptions of the property being as follows: <br />Knollwood Park Lot 34 and the south 500 feet of Lot 35, Ramsey County <br />• Subdivision 2. It is the desire of the City to transfer ownership of the three parcels to the <br />Mounds View Economic Development Authority to consolidate parcel ownership within one <br />municipal entity. <br />Subdivision 3. The City anticipates that the Mounds View EDA will enter into <br />subsequent Purchase and Redevelopment Agreement with a third party to develop a single <br />family residential subdivision. <br />Subdivision 4. The City Council has determined that conveyance of the City property <br />will further the public interest. <br />Subdivision 5. As provided by Section 12.05 of the City Charter, the City Council <br />authorizes conveyance of the above-referenced property to the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Authority, for one dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the <br />receipt of which is acknowledged by the City. <br />Subdivision 6. The City Council authorizes and directs City staff and consultants to take <br />any and all necessary action to prepare the appropriate documents and/or agreements to facilitate <br />the directives and intent of the City Council as provided herein. <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective thirty days after its publication. <br />,1 <br />
