• <br />ORDINANCE NO. 775 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EXCESS HIGHWAY EASEMENT ASSOCIATED <br />WITH THE HIDDEN HOLLOW SOUTH MAJOR SUBDIVISION <br />WHEREAS, Dan Saplis has received City Council approval to develop the vacant lots <br />formerly described as legally described as follows: <br />Lot 47 and Lot 48, Knollwood Park <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved a final plat of this area as the Hidden Hollow <br />South major subdivision, which created six single family residential homesites from the two <br />existing lots; and, <br />• WHEREAS, the City was granted an easement for highway and utility purposes in <br />1966 for the areas described as follows: <br />The North 30 Feet of Lots 47 and 48, Knollwood Park <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City of Mounds View Municipal Code Appendix D is hereby amended to <br />include reference to the following Special Ordinance No. 775. <br />Subd. 1. The City has made a determination that the highway and utility easements <br />described herein and illustrated on Exhibit A no longer serves a public purpose, and as <br />such, it is in the public interest to vacate such easement. <br />Subd. 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View finds that there is no public <br />interest or purpose served in retaining the original highway and utility easement proposed for <br />vacation in that it will be replaced with a new drainage and utility easement in the same <br />location. <br />Subd. 3. The highway and utility easement described herein and as shown on <br />Exhibit A is hereby vacated. <br />
