RESOLUTION 7424 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2009 TREE <br />REMOVAL PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, annually quotes are received to perform tree removal and <br />tree trimming services to be done as part of the Joint Powers Agreement the City <br />of Mounds View has with the City of New Brighton; and <br />WHEREAS, these services were budgeted for in 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, there were four companies that submitted tree removal <br />quotes for trees with no vehicle access; and <br />WHEREAS, the low quote was submitted by Upper Cut Tree Service for <br />trees smaller and larger than 28.5 inches in diameter; and <br />WHEREAS, 4 Seasons Tree Care has agreed to renew their contract for <br />2009 with no increase in their unit prices for removal of trees with vehicle access. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />That a contract with no vehicle access is hereby awarded to Upper <br />Cut Tree Service for trees smaller and larger than 28.5 inches in <br />diameter. <br />2. That a contract with 4 Seasons Tree Care for the removal of trees <br />with vehicle access is hereby renewed. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into said contracts. <br />4.
