RESOLUTION NO. 7472 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Authorizing Installation of Fiber Optic Conduit <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to develop Mounds View's communication <br />infrastructure to prepare for future needs; and <br />WHEREAS, opportunities to cost share installation of the communication infrastructure <br />are financially beneficial; and <br />WHEREAS, County, State, and Federal officials encourage communities to install <br />conduit for communications infrastructure when possible; and <br />WHEREAS, the City gains a valuable fiber segment that can be built on in the future to <br />enhance and develop the City's own communication needs. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />does hereby authorize the installation of fiber optic conduit from City Hall to the east side of the <br />H2 and County Highway 10 intersection in the amount not to exceed $8,438. Payment is <br />authorized out of the Cable Fund account 210-4350-7030 and the budget is hereby increased <br />by $8,438. <br />Adopted this 22"d day of June, 2009. <br />ATTEST: <br />~__.1 !. <br />~~ <br />Jim Ericson, City Clerk-Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
