RESOLUTION 7500 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING DESIGN CONFIGURATION FOR SPRINGVIEW LANE WHEREAS, the City Council approved reconstructing the Springview Lane to the recommended minimum width standard of 24 feet and to provide options for accommodating vehicular tum-around movements during the design phase of the project on July 13, 2009 {Resolution 7479); and WHEREAS, the City's consultant, Bonestroo, prepared four design options for Springview Lane that were presented to and discussed by the Streets and Utilities Committee on August 17, 2009; and WHEREAS, the City received a letter, dated August 19, 2009, from Springview Lane residents indicating a unanimous preference for the Option 4 design configuration; and WHEREAS, the Street and Utility Committee recommendation and resident preference for the Springview Lane design options were presented to and discussed by the City Council during the September 8, 2009 work session. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ci#y of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. Springview Lane will be reconstructed to the general design configuration of Option 4 as prepared by Bonestroo (attached) with the roadway alignment mimicking the existing alignment and a 25-foot radius, concentric cul-de-sac at the dead-end. 2. The cul-de-sac will be situated to ensure protection of the two mature oak trees at the dead-end of Springview Lane.
