EDA RESOLUTION N0.09-EDA-253 <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JDI SIGNS 8~ GRAPHICS TO REPLACE THE PANELS <br />ON THE ELECTRONIC MESSAGE SIGN LOCATED AT CITY HALL <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved a new City logo on April 13, 2009 as part of <br />the Mounds View Branding Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, at the June 8, 2009 EDA meeting, the EDA directed staff to request <br />quotes for implementation of the new City logo; and, <br />WHEREAS, about 21,600 cars a day travel past City Hall's electronic message sign <br />on County Highway 10 making it one of the most visible signs in Mounds View; and, <br />WHEREAS, City staff obtained three quotes to update the City Hall electronic <br />message sign with new panels to display the new City logo and to paint the remainder of <br />the sign to match the color of the new logo; and, <br />WHEREAS, JDI Signs & Graphics submitted the lowest cost bid to the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE !T RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Authority does hereby authorize JDI Signs & Graphics to Replace the Panels <br />on the Electronic Message Sign Located at City Hall at a price not to exceed $2,400.00. <br />Adopted this 12t" day of October, 2009 by the <br />Mounds View Economic Development Authority <br />e Flaherty, Pre nt <br />r~____ <br />(ATTEST) <br />J w <br />James Ericson, Executive Director <br />
