RESOLUTION NO. 7513 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A REVISED PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT PLAN FOR MOE'S <br />LOCATED AT 2400 HIGHWAY 10 <br />WHEREAS, on the June 8, 2009, City Council Meeting, the owner of Moe's (Jeff <br />Moritko), submitted a payment plan to the City for delinquent property taxes; and <br />WHEREAS, the payment plan submitted on June 8, 2009, stated that Mr. Moritko <br />would "ear mark" $1,500 per week to property taxes, and would be paid in full (including 1St <br />half of 2009) by October 1, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Moe's liquor license was approved at the June 8, 2009, City Council <br />Meeting contingent on becoming current on property taxes by October 1, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, on the September 28, 2009, City Council Meeting, Jeff Moritko <br />submitted a revised property tax payment plan for Moe's; and <br />WHEREAS, as of October 8, 2009, Ramsey County records indicate that Moe's <br />continues to be property tax delinquent; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the City Council to approve Moe's attached <br />revised payment plan, contingent on becoming current on delinquent property taxes by May <br />1, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, if fu{I payment is not made by the deadline, then nonpayment may be <br />grounds for Suspension or Revocation of Moe's liquor license under §502.16 of the Mounds <br />View City Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve the attached revised payment plan for Moe's, with $20,000 in property <br />taxes paid by January 11, 2010 and the balance of the delinquent property taxes paid in full <br />by May 1, 2010. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T FINALLY RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council <br />that Mr. Moritko shall provide to the City on a monthly basis, in a form acceptable to the <br />City, documentation of property tax payments made to Ramsey County. <br />Adopted this 26th day of October, 2009. <br />{ <br />e , <br />e <br />ATTEST: <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
