RESOLUTION N0.7526 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2010 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br />REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds to <br />improve recycling participation by the public; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br />administrative and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation among <br />city residents through education, awareness, and incentives; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this is <br />an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation benefits the <br />public health, safety, and welfare of the community as a whole. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View approves the attached application for 2010 SCORE funding and authorizes <br />acceptance of any allocated funding. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of November, 2009. <br />u+°i " <br />or <br />ATTEST: <br />J Iwo ~~P~,9~-~ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
