Mounds View City Council January 6, 2003 <br />Special Meeting Page 6 <br />• <br />• <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated he had been directed to file charges regarding missing <br />documents from the golf course. He then indicated he had researched the matter further and <br />found that he needs to have a list of what is missing prior to filing that report. He further <br />indicated that he had contacted MMKR and is waiting for a report from them on the missing <br />information. <br />Council Member Stigney said he thought this was already taken care of through the Auditor's <br />Office and the County Attorney. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated there was clear direction to file charges because a <br />report has not been filed and he needs to know what is missing before filing the report. <br />Michele Sandback indicated she had asked that the City file a report because at this time there is <br />no report filed and before the case can be sent to the prosecuting attorney there needs to be a <br />report. <br />Council Member Marty asked for an update on County Highway 10 and the soundwall. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that as soon as he has information he would provide <br />it to Council. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson requested authorization from Council to contract for planning <br />services should the need arise. <br />There was Council consent to authorize Staff to seek planning assistance if necessary. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson requested authorization from Council to seek human resource <br />assistance and said he could use the League of Minnesota Cities as well as using the assistance of <br />adjoining communities to assist with filling the open positions. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Authorize Staff to Seek Planning and Administrative <br />Assistance if Needed. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />• <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated there is a need for a third person in the cable <br />department to assist with covering meetings. He further commented that there have always been <br />two backups and right now the City is functioning with just one. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Authorize Staff to Hire a Person in the Cable Department <br />to Assist with Taping Meetings. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />
