RESOLUTION N0.7571 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2008 MOUNDS VIEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; <br />SPECIAL PLANNING CASE NO. SP-154-07 <br />WHEREAS, the City adopted the current and official City of Mounds View <br />Comprehensive Plan in 2001; and, <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota statutes require that cities review and revise their <br />comprehensive plans for consistency with Metropolitan Council policy plans; and, <br />WHEREAS, on July 1, 2009, the Mounds View Planning Commission approved <br />revisions to the Comprehensive Plan, forwarding it and their recommendation to the City <br />Council; and, <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009, the Mounds View City Council held a public hearing to <br />present the revised Comprehensive Plan to the residents of the community, accepted the <br />revised Comprehensive Plan and authorized staff to submit the revised Comprehensive Plan <br />to the Metropolitan Council; and, <br />WHEREAS, on December 9, 2009, the Metropolitan Council approved the City's <br />revised Comprehensive Plan; and, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve the revised Comprehensive Plan, which incorporates the Tier II Sewer <br />Plan. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby <br />direct staff to make copies available for general public viewing at Mounds View City Hall <br />and the Mounds View Branch of the Ramsey County Public Library. <br />Adopted this 8th day of February, 2010. <br />Flaherty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~~/w~,t~ ~i~~1~ <br />James Ericson, City Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
