RESOLUTION 7582 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPPORT OF THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY <br />THEATRE CONSISTENT WITH THE POLICY FOR THE SUPPORT OF ARTISTIC <br />ORGANIZATIONS <br />WHEREAS, on May 27, 2003, the City Council adopted a policy for the support of artistic <br />organizations consistent with MN Statutes 471.941; and, <br />WHEREAS, to receive support, the artistic organization shall submit a letter describing <br />(1) their organization sufficient to establish that it is within the definition of an artistic <br />organization as set forth in 471.941 and (2) the type of support requested; and, <br />WHEREAS, on January 25, 2010, the City received a request from the Mounds View <br />Community Theatre artistic organization to utilize the City's copier as it has in previous years; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, consistent with the Policy, the City Administrator reviewed the request and <br />determined it complied with said Policy. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, consistent with the adopted Policy for the support of artistic organizations, approves the <br />request for support from the Mounds View Community Theater as follows: <br />Use of the City's copy machine, subject the following limitations: <br />1. The number of "impressions" shall be limited to 7,200 or less <br />2. City use of copier shall take priority <br />3. City staff will not operate copier on behalf of MVCT <br />4. MVCT shall provide its own paper and any necessary office supplies <br />5.
