RESOLUTION NO. 7597 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br />ADOPTING A CALENDAR FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE 2011 BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, the City's Charter and Code as well as State Statutes set forth various <br />requirements for considering and adopting the City's budget; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 7.04 of the City Charter requires the Clerk-Administrator to submit to <br />the City Council a budget calendar to be established by resolution. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />that the following budget and long tern financial plan calendar is hereby adopted: <br />June 7, 2010 City Council discusses budget priorities at a work session. <br />July 22, 2010 Summary of General Fund operating budget requests delivered to City <br />Council. <br />August 2, 2010 City Council reviews General Fund budget at work session. <br />Sept. 13, 2010 City Council adopts preliminary 2011 property tax levy and sets date for the <br />Truth in Taxation Public Hearing. <br />Oct. 4, 2010 City Council reviews other funds and utility rate study at a work session. <br />Nov. 8, 2010 City Council adopts utility rates for 2011. <br />Dec. 6, 2010 Truth in Taxation Public Hearing. <br />Dec. 13, 2010 Continuation Hearing and adoption of 2011 budget and tax levy. <br />Ado March 22, 2010. <br />e <br />ATTEST: ~ ~, ~~ ~,(~~lJr~ v <br />Jim Ericson, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
