RESOLUTION NO. 7620 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRE OF DON BURDA TO THE <br />POSITION OF PART-TIME, SEASONAL BUILDING INSPECTOR IN THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council gave direction to City staff to search for a <br />person for the position of part-time seasonal building inspector in the Community Development <br />Department; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council authorized this position in Resolution 7614 subject to <br />several conditions including setting a maximum budget of $7,200 for the position for 2010; and, <br />WHEREAS, City staff contacted the former part-time building inspector pon Burda to <br />gauge his interest in the position; and, <br />WHEREAS, Don Burda has the necessary background, training, experience, interest and <br />skills to perForm the duties assigned to this seasonal, part-time position; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />approve the hire of Don Burda to the position of part-time, seasonal building inspector in the <br />Community Development Department, subject to: <br />Mr. Burda passing the required background checks. <br />2. The City paying Mr. Burda $18.00 per hour. <br />3. The City Council has set a maximum budget for this position of $7,200 for 2010. <br />4.
