Mounds View City Council May 14, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 17 <br />~ <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council <br />Council Member Stigney said he would like to discuss the outdoor license fee structure at a work <br />session. <br />Council Member Mueller noted that the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting at <br />McDonalds at 7:00 p.m. on May 15, 2007 and invited anyone interested to attend. The design a <br />t-shirt contest had several entries and a winner will be selected. She then said that they are <br />planning a car show for the Sunday of the Festival. <br />Council Member Mueller said that the appreciation luncheon for Staff was held last week and <br />she feels that the Staff does a really good job for the community. <br />Mayor Marty said that Jim Clark had a meeting with his motorcycle club and they are interested <br />in participating in the Festival parade. <br />B. Reports of Staff <br />• Finance Director Beer noted that Ricochet will be coming to test equipment, He then said that <br />there is a part time IT person in the public works department and, with the impending street <br />improvement projects, his time will be focused on public works and Council Member Mueller <br />had asked whether Roseville could give the City more time and they are able to provide a full <br />time person on Monday and Thursday. <br />Community Development Director Ericson reminded everyone of Spring Clean Up Day on <br />Saturday, May 19, 2007. <br />C.
