Public Hearing, Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 798, an <br />Ordinance Amending Chapter 1113 of the Mounds yiew Zoning Code <br />Related to Therapeutic Massage Businesses <br />Community Development Director Ericson noted that this is in response ta a deficiency in the <br />Code relating to therapeutic massage businesses. The City has an application submitted for this <br />type of business and determined that the Zoning ~ode did no~ designate where these types of <br />businesses are to be located. Staff recommends approval of the Amended ' Ordinance and <br />authorization to publish a summary of the ordinance. <br />Mayor Marly opened the public hearing a~ 8:49 p.m. <br />Hearing no public comments, Mayar Marty' closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION/SECOND: MuellerlHull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Ordinance ?98, an <br />Ordinance Amending Chapter 1 i 13 of the Mounds View Zoning Code Related to Therapeutic <br />Massage Businesses, <br />_ _ <br />Council Member Stigney asked when the change vi~ill be made in the Code. <br />~n said that he has asked Kennedy & Graven to review the licensing provisions and <br />-cessary changes. Resolution 7147, Certification of Proposed General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2008 <br />Finance Director Beer explained that the City must certify a general fund budget and levy to the <br />County Auditor by September 15, 2007. The general fund levy increase proposed is at 0% and <br />the general fund budget was provided. <br />~ <br />
