Emergency Power Supply Plan - portable generator assistance <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that Staff is recommending a motion to allow Staff to seek <br />quotes for a trailer mounted generator for any emergencies within the City, and to use it for <br />auxiliary power for events. <br />Mayor Marty said that the City of Spring Lake Park has one of these, so he would think that <br />some of this research would be available somewhere. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Approve Entering Into a contract with the Consultant <br />as Recommended by Staff not to Exceed $3,300. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />3. Metro I-NET Update <br />• <br />Finance Director Beer provided an update on the Metro I-Net. Finance Director Beer indicated <br />that by getting to the 511 building, they can eliminate the $500 PRI fee. <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that the library is willing to work with the City to extend cable to <br />its building and share costs. <br />Council asked Staff to bring this to a work session for discussion. <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that the subject of the upcoming Ramsey County Leagne <br />of Loca1 Governments Meeting is TIF. <br />C.
