Mounds View City Council December 10, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether all six wells are functional within the City. • <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that five of the six wells are operational. <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether this is routine maintenance. <br />Director Lee explained the work to be done on Well No. 6. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7199, Well <br />No. 6 Rehabilitation Project - Order Project, Approve Plans and Specifications and Set Bid Date. <br />Council Member Flaherty asked what is being done with Well No. 4. <br />Director Lee indicated that Well No. 4 needs to be connected to the treatment plant and the <br />estimated costs are $500,000 to do so. <br />Mayor Marty asked whether there could be increased costs because the equipment in Well No. 4 <br />has been left to sit without being operated. <br />Director Lee indicated that the electric motor does not deteriorate from non use and it is checked <br />regularly. • <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />I. Schedule a Public Hearing for Monday, January 14, 2008 at 7:15pm to Consider <br />a Conditional Use Permit to Allow for the Storage of Flammable Liquid at Tyson <br />Company, 4815 Mustang Circle <br />Interim Administrator Ericson provided information on the request to locate storage of <br />flammable liquid at Tyson Company. This item was heard by the Planning Commission and, <br />after discussion, the Planning Commission recommended denial. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Approve Consent Agenda Item I setting a public <br />hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit to allow storage of flanunable liquid at Tyson <br />Company. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />Council Member Mueller asked for clarification on the Hewlett Packard invoice. <br />Finance Director Beer explained that is a replacement server. • <br />
