RESOLUTION 7643 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING BONESTROO TO PERFORM ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE <br />DESIGN PHASE FOR AREA D OF THE 2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, on October 22, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution 7176 <br />establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program (Program), which includes nine <br />Street and Utility Improvement Projects identified as Areas A through I; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 28, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7504 <br />authorizing preliminary surveying activities for Area D of the Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Area D of the Program is scheduled for construction during 2011; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in cooperation with City staff, Bonestroo has prepared a letter <br />proposal outlining the various components for engineering services required to <br />complete the design phase for Area D of the Program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The letter proposal dated July 8, 2010 submitted by Bonestroo to provide <br />engineering services for Area D of the Program is accepted by the City. <br />Compensation as outlined in the letter proposal will be on an hourly basis with <br />reimbursable expenses with a maximum fee amount of $234,000. <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed, for and on <br />behalf of the City, to execute the letter proposal dated July 8, 2010 with Bonestroo. <br />Adopted this 12th day of July, 2010. <br />Joe <br />ATTEST: <br />~(%~/1~ux~0 <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
