43 <br />At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, <br />duly held on the 15th day June, 1959, the following ro.eolution was offered by <br />Sullivan, seconded by Christensen to-wit: <br />RESOLUTION HONORING CLARENCE LUDWIG <br />WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Village Council of the Village of <br />Mounds View, and upon recommendation of the League of Minnesota Municipalities, <br />TfEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Council for <br />the Village of Mounds View recognizing that the success of the League of Minn- <br />esota Municipalities is due in a large part to the efforts of its Executive <br />Secretary Clarence Ludwig, and as an expression of their appreciation for the <br />many years of devoted service to the cause of strong independent municipal <br />government, the Council of the Village of Mounds View would like to express its <br />thanks and congratulations upon the well deserved retirement of Mr. Ludwig. <br />Upon the call of the roll the following members voted in favor of the <br />resolution: Smith, Christensen, Sullivan and Gibson. <br />The following members voted against its adoption: Prone <br />whereupon the Mayor declared the resolution adopted. <br />Dated this 15th day of June, 1959. <br />AT •T: <br />Clerk, Earl E. with <br />Nhyor, James W.
